A couple of disappointing efforts, including from the 2 penalised Group 1 winners in the field, doesn't detract too much from what looks an up-to-scratch renewal of the Windsor Forest, lightly raced improvers in first and third split by the pick of the weights Chachamaidee, who was probably an unlucky loser having lost a few lengths at the stalls; Barefoot Lady got a relatively soft lead, setting just a fair pace.
