This looked like being something of a defining race for the top 3-y-o fillies over 1m than until Maybe (bruised foot) and Elusive Kate (taken out due to going) were pulled out, whilst also missing was French 1000 Guineas winner Beauty Parlour; nevertheless, it still brought the English and Irish 1000 Guineas winners together again, as well as some others that still had potential, and one of them, Fallen For You, produced the best performance yet from a filly in this division to win decisively; there were some disappointing efforts from others but there's no doubting the actual result on the day, the pace sound and all having their chance.
