A strong renewal of the Ribblesdale and the winner produced the stand-out performance of the year so far from a 3-y-o filly beyond 1m, with the Oaks second and third filling the places; Vow made the running for the first 4f at no more than a fair pace, but Shirocco Star went on with 1m to run and soon increased the tempo, making for a thorough test and getting the field really well strung out.
