The clear form pick justifying favouritism doesn't really tell the story of this year's Queen's Vase, which with under 5 lengths covering the first 10 finishers - among them plenty that were seemingly just chancing their arm at this level - has the look of a muddling piece of form that requires a good bit of interpretation; the first 3 came from out the back, though the pace wasn't strong, the field bunching up around 4f out, and it's possible that trio are worth a bit of extra credit over those in the ruck behind.
