The Diamond Jubilee has been the race in recent years that has attracted a lot of international runners and it was no different for 2015, Brazen Beau and Wandjina coming from Australia, Undrafted from the US and plenty from Ireland as well to make up the 15-strong field; there were some disappointments, notably Due Diligence and Tropics, who both seemed amiss, but the 2 foreign raiders that fought it out are both proven Group 1 performers and the standard of form achieved is on par with most recent runnings of this race; it was a truly-run affair in which race position didn't make a big difference but track position arguably did, Craig Williams' decision to keep Brazen Beau in a straight line from stall 15 rather backfiring as he ended up racing on his own, the rest of the field all merged in a single group down the centre of the course.
