This looked a strong Norfolk beforehand, the betting dominated by the Hannon duo that had already shown form good enough to win a typical renewal of this, but that's not how it panned out, both failing to give their running for other reasons rather than simply going too fast, but it means the form shown by Waterloo Bridge is just ordinary in terms of historical standards, stablemate Washington DC actually rated higher for winning the Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
