Betting offers is a widely used term for every deal a bookmaker has that isn’t a free bet – if
you’re looking for a free bet, why not check out our free bets page.
We showcase all of the latest betting offers from leading UK bookmakers here – for new and
existing customers alike.
What are 'betting offers'?
Free bets are offered by bookmakers as a reward for signing up with them or for being
loyal to them. Given that bookies are targeting you with a variety of offers, not all of
them can be considered to be free bets. A free bet is as the name says, a free amount of
credit given for the purposes of betting only.
Betting Offers are a bonus offered by bookmakers in exchange for signing up or continuing
to bet with them. They are different from free bets – instead of signing up with Betfred, depositing £10 and getting £60 in free bets,
you can get great odds on favourites.
Examples could be Enable to win the Arc at 25/1 (SP 10/11) or Man City to beat West Ham at 16/1.
Types of betting offers
Odds Boost/Price Boost -
the bookmaker lengthens the price of the favourite, there’s generally no wagering requirement attached.
Request A Bet -
the bookmaker will create a market for something you want to bet on if one doesn’t already exist.
Very similar to odds boost/price boost except that it is generally targeted at new customers and is
associated with a max stake – the odds also tend to be longer.
Finding the best betting offers
Start by checking back on our Betting Offers page regularly for all the latest offers that we showcase
from our partners.
It helps to consider what you’re looking for and generally that tends to be backing an odds-on
favourite at longer odds. You should also consider how much you wish to stake - If you’re looking to keep
it to a £1 bet then it is worth looking at betting offers that are max bet £1 as the odds on these tend to be longer,
whereas if you’re looking to bet more than that, then a £1 max bet offer is worth avoiding.
New customer betting offers
New customers certainly have the most options when it comes to betting offers. If you’re a new customer,
then take some time to browse all of our betting offers to find the one that is right for you.
Existing customer betting offers
Whilst betting offers are less common for existing customers, they certainly are out there so keep a check
on our existing customer betting offers.
ACCA related offers are one of the most common, such as win up to 50% more on your first ACCA of the week or
get a risk free leg when you make 5 or more selections.
Betting offers for events
Betting Offers are usually available for the big matches in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League
and they become more numerous around major sporting events such as the Cheltenham Festival, Grand National and World
You can usually find betting offers for other notable sporting events, such as Tennis Grand Slams, Golf Majors,
the Super Bowl, NBA Final, big boxing matches and more, so make sure to check back with us.
Betting offers terms and conditions
Before committing yourself to a betting offer, make sure that you understand the terms and conditions of the
offer – whether you are registering or as an existing customer.
When you pick an offer for you, make sure you’re aware of what it is you need to do in order to redeem that
offer – it may require you to put money into your account or take some other sort of action. It is also important to
be aware of the maximum bet you can place on a particular offer before agreeing to it.
Finally, there may be sports specifics terms and conditions such as the number of football teams in your ACCA
or the number of runners required to be in a horse race.
