Analyst's Verdict
EARLY DAWNING shaped well when third on debut last year, briefly looking best before inexperience took over, and his hurdle bow could see him in a better light following a disappointing bumper effort that can be forgiven back in January. Dawn Coming has been placed in all 5 maiden hurdle starts and returns to obstacles after using a Flat run as a pipe-opener, while Tyson Fury was runner-up here in May.
Analyst's Verdict
BIRDIE OR BUST hasn't run over hurdles since finishing third in the 2024 Dawn Run, but she's entitled to run a big race on these terms. Murcia looks interesting stepping up to 2½m and could be the main danger, with stablemate Diamond Du Berlais completing the shortlist.
Analyst's Verdict
ILLTAKEHIMMYSELF has been knocking on the door and looks the most likely winner in a competitive handicap. Hickeys Hill and Uptaurintop are both weighted to go close, while Diamond Secret could improve up in trip.
Analyst's Verdict
KOEUR A PRENDRE showed big improvement on handicap debut when second at Clonmel and this unexposed sort can go one better at the main expense of the in-form Tedworth and last year's winner Swelltime.
Analyst's Verdict
GLOBAL SKIES is likely capable of better again and is taken to defy the handicapper and complete a hat-trick. Speakasyoufind was second when the selection gained his first win at Clonmel and is feared most ahead of Arcland, another who arrives on the back of a good runner-up effort last time.
Analyst's Verdict
LIPS FREEDOM looked more like his old self when winning at Downpatrick last time and, although the handicapper has reacted, there should still be more to come from him now that he is up and running over hurdles. Corkbeg hasn’t won for 3 years, but he is well treated and has gone well fresh, so he must be considered a threat. Katakana is also capable of getting involved if bringing her A-game on her return.
Analyst's Verdict
INISHTEARAGHT is a half-brother to useful hurdler/chaser Golden Taipan, who won up to 3m, and hails from a family with further black type. The €22,000 purchase makes plenty of appeal on debut and can make a winning start. Caislean Gear has experience on his side so could be the biggest threat.
Analyst's Verdict
SUPER FREAK made an encouraging start to her career in a bumper at last year's Galway Festival and might be worth chancing to build on that having joined a stable which knows the time of day in these events. Willie Mullins pair Cast A Cold Eye and Village Dream, a debutante, head the dangers along with last month's Downpatrick second Flashy Fred.
