DOWMAN and Lady Blanche both showed ability when placed first-time up and can put their experience to use up against mostly newcomers, the former shading the vote.

That said, if she does go off hard that will help Eutropia, who made it 2 wins from her last 3 starts when arriving late on the scene over a mile here 12 days ago. Adrian Wintle's charge is a much-respected main danger, with Chourmo also entitled to respect.

The one who appeals most is MY AMBITION, who likes it here and he made a positive start to the present campaign when runner-up at Lingfield off this mark last month. It's likely that Signcastle City will also come to the fore, provided that he's able to shrug off a disappointing effort last time, while Magical Merlin should come on for his pipe-opener at Kempton and is also likely to have a say.

DASH OF CLASS appeared to be suited by more positive tactics when third back at this trip in a Southwell handicap last time and, if able to build on that now switched to turf, she could be the answer. Mohmentous should also be in the mix if taking to turf at the first attempt and he is second choice ahead of Lady Lauren.
