Timeform logoAnalyst's Verdict

A first success on turf could be on the cards for THECOFFEEPODDOTCO, who wasn't seen to best effect (and may not have been ideally suited by the soft ground) when fourth in a higher-grade handicap at Musselburgh last time and she's been eased 1 lb since. Moe's Legacy was a close-up fourth over 5f here on Monday and, with this slightly longer trip a big plus, she will be a big threat if allowed to take her chance. Silver Wraith, a C&D winner when last seen in the autumn, also has claims.

DOWMAN and Lady Blanche both showed ability when placed first-time up and can put their experience to use up against mostly newcomers, the former shading the vote.

Timeform logoAnalyst's Verdict

Having shaped pretty well in a stronger handicap on her recent reappearance, CONNIE'S ROSE looks the way to go. She is entitled to come on for that and could prove hard to catch back down in trip, as well as class. Rogue Bullet scored on the back of a similar period of absence on his return last season, so the lack of a recent run is unlikely to be an issue. He is feared most ahead of Cayman Tai and Binadham.

Timeform logoAnalyst's Verdict

If she goes to post ENDOFASTORM could take some catching back at this trip after giving it a good shot from the front in an 11.6f handicap off this mark here on Monday, leading from flag fall until she was headed around a furlong from home. That said, if she does go off hard that will help Eutropia, who made it 2 wins from her last 3 starts when arriving late on the scene over a mile here 12 days ago. Adrian Wintle's charge is a much-respected main danger, with Chourmo also entitled to respect.

The one who appeals most is MY AMBITION, who likes it here and he made a positive start to the present campaign when runner-up at Lingfield off this mark last month. It's likely that Signcastle City will also come to the fore, provided that he's able to shrug off a disappointing effort last time, while Magical Merlin should come on for his pipe-opener at Kempton and is also likely to have a say.

DASH OF CLASS appeared to be suited by more positive tactics when third back at this trip in a Southwell handicap last time and, if able to build on that now switched to turf, she could be the answer. Mohmentous should also be in the mix if taking to turf at the first attempt and he is second choice ahead of Lady Lauren.

HAVANA CLUB took a step back in the right direction on his return to turf here earlier this month and is on a handy mark if building on that. Brinton and Simba's Gift are feared most.

REDHOT WHISPER looks ready to finally break his duck having caught the eye off his reduced mark over C&D last time. Oasis Sunrise is a solid alternative, with Baynoona best of the others.

Analyst Verdict 1-2-3
HICKORY LAD showed plenty when finishing second on debut at Thirsk earlier this month, making the favourite work hard and pulling well clear of the remainder in the process. He can put that experience to good use and come out on top from newcomer Kodi Bear Light, who commands obvious respect given the stable she represents.
