improved after 9 months off as he made it 2 from 2 in handicaps but did have a hard race and probably wouldn't want turning out too quickly; chased leaders, led under pressure over 1f out, hung left, driven out; the fact he was able to cope with such a furiously-run race over the minimum trip augurs well if he can stand regular racing.

gave her running as usual, unable to lead with the early pace so furious yet sticking to her task in typically tenacious fasion, beaten only by a less-exposed one; chased leaders, pushed along halfway, challenged approaching final 1f, stayed on.

remains in good form, a measure of how fast the early gallop was that he just couldn't keep up, admittedly taking on a better class of rival than usual; outpaced, headway under pressure approaching final 1f, nearest at the finish.

is one-dimensional at the best of times, but his speed can be better harnessed than it was here, simply asked to go off too hard and paying the price; forced pace, ridden 2f out, headed over 1f out, weakened.

The main feature of this handicap was the furious gallop set by Just That Lord and Airshow, several taken off their feet as a result and the 2 that fought out the finish the ones that were able to chase the pace and run most efficiently.

KICK ON KICK ON improved after 9 months off as he made it 2 from 2 in handicaps but did have a hard race and probably wouldn't want turning out too quickly; chased leaders, led under pressure over 1f out, hung left, driven out; the fact he was able to cope with such a furiously-run race over the minimum trip augurs well if he can stand regular racing.

BUNGEE JUMP (IRE) gave her running as usual, unable to lead with the early pace so furious yet sticking to her task in typically tenacious fasion, beaten only by a less-exposed one; chased leaders, pushed along halfway, challenged approaching final 1f, stayed on.

WILEY POST remains in good form, a measure of how fast the early gallop was that he just couldn't keep up, admittedly taking on a better class of rival than usual; outpaced, headway under pressure approaching final 1f, nearest at the finish.

JUST THAT LORD is one-dimensional at the best of times, but his speed can be better harnessed than it was here, simply asked to go off too hard and paying the price; forced pace, ridden 2f out, headed over 1f out, weakened.

MAJOR PUSEY wasn't given an unduly hard time after 12 weeks off, taken off his feet after a sluggish start and never on terms in a furiously-run race, his season stop-start so far.

AIRSHOW has the speed for 5f but wasn't given a chance to show what he could do, going off too hard with Just That Lord, better judged on other form as a result; pressed leader, weakened over 1f out.

TOMILY (IRE) ran poorly for the second outing in succession; raced well off the pace, pushed along before halfway, always behind.
