couldn't quite justify strong market support but still ran creditably back up in trip; mid-field, headway 2f out, stayed on to lead final 1f, headed close home; will continue to give a good account.

Overrounds: Industry SP 112%, Betfair SP 99.1%

A useful handicap won by one that has worked his way up to top form with a couple of runs this year but the main feature of the race was the emphasis on stamina, Volatile and Fair Cop doing plenty on the front end early on.

PARNASSIAN (IRE) showed improved form to resume winning ways, seeing things out really strongly and he could go well again under similar circumstances; in rear, outpaced, headway over 1f out, stayed on to lead well inside final 1f, helped by being held up in a strongly-run race.

OPEN WIDE (USA) couldn't quite justify strong market support but still ran creditably back up in trip; mid-field, headway 2f out, stayed on to lead final 1f, headed close home; will continue to give a good account.

LETMESTOPYOUTHERE (IRE) has had loads of racing but ran one of better races with the strong pace that suits him well; dwelt, in rear, went with little fluency, headway out wide 2f out, challenged final 1f, no extra.

VOLATILE has work to do from this mark but went off too hard over 1f shorter trip; led, travelled fluently, headed final 1f, weakened.

FAIR COP easy to back, is best not judged on this run making handicap debut, doing too much too soon; close up, weakened 1f out.

SAYESSE fared no better in first-time visor after 9 days off; dwelt, outpaced, always behind.
