is clearly well suited to the demands of this course and proved better than ever in following up her C&D success 11 days previously from an 8 lb higher mark, though the overall feeling is that she was seen to maximum effect on the day; close up, travelled fluently, went on before 4 out, headed briefly early in straight, rallied well between last 2, forged clear; clearly in the form of her life at present, but it's worth bearing in mind that she hasn't always been so enthusiastic and she'll more than likely to be one to take on from a higher mark next time.

under less testing conditions, shaped as if still in good form, just found wanting for pace at a crucial stage before finishing her race off well; mid-division, ridden before 3 out, outpaced leaving back straight, stayed on to snatch second close home; remains with potential and sure to be of interest again in a similar event.

went like the best horse at the weights, but failed to see her race out once faced with the stiff uphill finish; in touch, travelled best, led briefly approaching 2 out, faltered between last 2, held when untidy last and lost second dying strides; clearly on a good mark at present and sure to be of interest again, particularly back at a less demanding course.

A fair race of its type and it went the way of one clearly at the top of her game, though with some of the others failing to live up to expectations for one reason or another, the strength of the form remains to be seen; the pace was nothing out of the ordinary, things only really unfolding after 4 out.

TARA TAVEY (IRE) is clearly well suited to the demands of this course and proved better than ever in following up her C&D success 11 days previously from an 8 lb higher mark, though the overall feeling is that she was seen to maximum effect on the day; close up, travelled fluently, went on before 4 out, headed briefly early in straight, rallied well between last 2, forged clear; clearly in the form of her life at present, but it's worth bearing in mind that she hasn't always been so enthusiastic and she'll more than likely to be one to take on from a higher mark next time.

BLAMEITALONMYROOTS (IRE) under less testing conditions, shaped as if still in good form, just found wanting for pace at a crucial stage before finishing her race off well; mid-division, ridden before 3 out, outpaced leaving back straight, stayed on to snatch second close home; remains with potential and sure to be of interest again in a similar event.

DARDANELLA went like the best horse at the weights, but failed to see her race out once faced with the stiff uphill finish; in touch, travelled best, led briefly approaching 2 out, faltered between last 2, held when untidy last and lost second dying strides; clearly on a good mark at present and sure to be of interest again, particularly back at a less demanding course.

CANNON FODDER was back at a more realistic level, but again ran below form; tracked pace, driven from 4 out, soon beaten.

ROSA FLEET (IRE) had hinted at a revival on her previous 2 starts, but was let down by her jumping on this occasion; waited with, jumped none too fluently, off the bridle before most, beaten before 3 out.

ICONIC ROSE clearly wasn't 100% on the day; led until before 4 out, folded approaching next, tailed off.

MADAM LILIBET (IRE) is now on a career-high mark, but wasn't on a going day in any case; took little interest, soon off bridle, lost touch early final circuit, behind when pulled up before 2 out.

A SHADE OF BAY merely underlined inconsistency; in touch, driven 5 out, weakened approaching 3 out, behind when pulled up 2 out.
