had enjoyed a fine 2021 season and proved better than ever returning from 5 months off (headgear left off), doing well to come from off the steady gallop to win authoritively; held up, switched early in straight, good headway 2f out, quickened to lead inside final 1f, driven out; he held his form well last season and, though he'll be forced into stronger company this time around, he should still remain competitive.

Winning Owner: Mrs Patricia Hunt

Time: 2m 9.64s

Overrounds: Industry SP 116%, Betfair SP 99.3%

A competitive enough listed event even after the non-runners, though not that many really got seriously involved, Licence given an easy time of things up front and the winner deserving of credit for coming from last.
