maintained an unblemished record at this track, adding a third success in this race to those achieved in 2013 and 2014, similar front-running tactics employed to good effect once again; made all, untidy third, not fluent 3 out, in command approaching last, kept up to work; today was very possibly his 'Cup Final' and, given that he hasn't scored anywhere else since late-2012, he'll be opposable next time.

built on a more promising run last time, but was still some way below his very best; chased leader, raced wide/jumped right throughout, lost place when pushed along approaching 2 out, plugged on flat.

proved to be a disappointment, wasting what had looked a good opportunity to finally get off the mark in graded company; mid-field, some headway home turn, pushed along approaching 2 out, untidy last, weakened final 100 yds.

found the drop to the minimum trip all against him, though this acted as another step on the road towards one or more of the spring 'Nationals' (eighth at Aintree last year, though seems unlikely to make the cut this time around); raced off the pace, struggling from halfway.
