made the most of a good opportunity, only workmanlike in doing so but, in mitigation, asked to go again just a week after her fifth in a blisteringly-run King's Stand, required to show a different side to her game in a contrasting set-up as she landed her second listed prize; in touch, quickened to lead approaching final 1f, ridden out.

seemed to excel herself, though there's more than enough handicap evidence - winless in such races this year no less - to suggest this perhaps isn't a true reflection of her, certainly no good thing to capitalise on what may well look a lenient mark if found an opening before reassessed; pressed leader, pushed along over 2f out, rallied final 1f.

shaped every bit as well as she had at Bath, coming in cold following another lay-off yet looking right at the top of her game, trouble in running denying her a fair crack at the winner, let alone the placed pair; held up, going well when not clear run 2f out, short of room again 1f out, got gap soon after, quickened well inside final 1f, nearest at the finish.

The form standout did enough, but the bunched finish in her wake - and the proximity in third of a rival regularly beaten in handicaps from marks in the low-80s - suggests the bare form is right at the bottom end of what's normally required to land a listed prize taken last year by a subsequent Group 1 runner-up in Que Amoro; the action unfolded middle-to-near side after Machree had forced the gallop roughly down the middle.

KEEP BUSY (IRE) made the most of a good opportunity, only workmanlike in doing so but, in mitigation, asked to go again just a week after her fifth in a blisteringly-run King's Stand, required to show a different side to her game in a contrasting set-up as she landed her second listed prize; in touch, quickened to lead approaching final 1f, ridden out.

DICKIEDOODA (IRE) without a tongue strap this time, nonetheless confirmed her Cork improvement, filling second behind a smart one once more; mid-division, effort 2f out, stayed on well inside final 1f.

MID WINSTER seemed to excel herself, though there's more than enough handicap evidence - winless in such races this year no less - to suggest this perhaps isn't a true reflection of her, certainly no good thing to capitalise on what may well look a lenient mark if found an opening before reassessed; pressed leader, pushed along over 2f out, rallied final 1f.

IVA BATT (IRE) failed to improve as required trying this level for the first time; patiently ridden, steady headway halfway, threatened briefly, no further impression.

FREE LOVE ran about as well as she can, enough only for a mid-field finish; in touch, outpaced around halfway, kept on again last ½f.

MACHREE (IRE) ran about as well as could have been expected upped in grade after 8 weeks off, impressive relative to her mark that she was able to lead this field, still there until approaching the final 1f before finding no extra.

QUEEN'S ORDER ran poorly after a further 10 weeks off; dwelt, pushed along early, in touch before halfway, left behind soon after.
