proved at least as good as ever after 9 months off as he notched up course win number 7, basically picking up where he left off at the back-end of last season; steadied at the start, travelled well, settled mid-field, good headway from 2f out, challenged final 1f, stayed on to lead close home; this took less winning than a lot of 0-100s but he'll likely remain of interest at this track.

shaped encouragingly on first outing since leaving D. K. Weld after 9 months off (gelded since last seen) and clearly has races in him for his new connections, though they'll do well to find him a lesser 0-100 than this; mid-field, smooth headway from 3f out, upsides 2f out, hung left, went on over 1f out, tackled final 1f, no extra close home.

wasn't disgraced for all he couldn't build on his reappearance back on turf, shaping as if a stronger gallop would have suited, though he's always been a shade quirky; mid-field, pushed along 2f out, not quicken entering final 1f, kept on.

back up in trip, failed to build on the promise of reappearance run, not much encouragement to be taken from this even if he wasn't ideally placed, possible that he's not the heartiest; slowly into stride, raced off the pace, pushed along 3f out, made no impression.

Not a deep race for the grade on paper and it ended up even less competitive than it might've been, the favourite underperforming and one or 2 others probably needing it; the gallop was steady.

NICHOLAS T proved at least as good as ever after 9 months off as he notched up course win number 7, basically picking up where he left off at the back-end of last season; steadied at the start, travelled well, settled mid-field, good headway from 2f out, challenged final 1f, stayed on to lead close home; this took less winning than a lot of 0-100s but he'll likely remain of interest at this track.

OASIS PRINCE went backwards from reappearance desptie being strong in the betting; prominent, challenged over 2f out, weakened over 1f out.
