got off the mark in this sphere, in the process winning at this meeting for the second year running; mid-division, travelled strongly, produced to lead 3 out, asserted quickly, driven out (possibly idled a shade late on); should continue to give a good account in valuable handicap company.

is running consistently well, his form having gone up a notch since he was fitted with cheekpieces; waited with, typically travelled well, hit sixth, yet to be asked for effort when not fluent 4 out, kept on well latter stages, conceded first run; likely to continue in form.

might have just needed the run after 7 weeks off, failing to see things out back over a longer trip; in touch, travelled well, every chance home turn, faded from 3 out.

Several of the market principals failed to give their running for various reasons, but this still appeals as strong form, with a pair of in-form novices coming out on top at the end of a well-run race.

TWO TAFFS (IRE) got off the mark in this sphere, in the process winning at this meeting for the second year running; mid-division, travelled strongly, produced to lead 3 out, asserted quickly, driven out (possibly idled a shade late on); should continue to give a good account in valuable handicap company.

KATGARY (FR) might have just needed the run after 7 weeks off, failing to see things out back over a longer trip; in touch, travelled well, every chance home turn, faded from 3 out.

WARRIORS TALE found run of good form coming to a halt; mid-division, went handy sixth, not fluent thirteenth, brushed aside from 3 out, held when hit next, found less than looked likely.
