upped in trip, resumed winning ways after 3 months off, the recipient of a well-judged ride, his jockey committing him early in the home straight, gaining first run over the second as a result; in touch, quickened to lead over 2f out, kept going well; was always holding the runner-up close home and wasn't necessarily flattered by this victory, though overall record suggests he isn't an obvious candidate to follow up.

back in headgear, ran respectably, shaping better than the distance beaten suggests, his effort just flattening out close home, though his search for that elusive first win continues; prominent, not settle fully, shaken up 2f out, edged left, faded final 1f.

Modest fare, Rockweiller catching his 2 nearest pursuers napping when quickening to the front inside the final 3f and maintaining that advantage to the line; the pace was fair in the conditions.

ROCKWEILLER upped in trip, resumed winning ways after 3 months off, the recipient of a well-judged ride, his jockey committing him early in the home straight, gaining first run over the second as a result; in touch, quickened to lead over 2f out, kept going well; was always holding the runner-up close home and wasn't necessarily flattered by this victory, though overall record suggests he isn't an obvious candidate to follow up.

HARRISON'S CAVE ran well having conceded first run and remains one to bear in mind for a similar event; patiently ridden, went with enthusiasm, crept closer halfway, ridden approaching 2f out, edged left, stayed on.

NAY SECRET stepped up on his reappearance run, though not for the first time there was a laboured element to his performance; in rear, went in snatches, headway approaching 2f out, ran on late, never nearer.

LATIN REBEL (IRE) back in headgear, ran respectably, shaping better than the distance beaten suggests, his effort just flattening out close home, though his search for that elusive first win continues; prominent, not settle fully, shaken up 2f out, edged left, faded final 1f.

RONALD GEE (IRE) attracted support, but ran poorly under a change of tactics, his form having tailed off of late; led, headed over 2f out, weakened.

I AM WHO I AM was well held from 6 lb out of the handicap and is yet to show much in the way of ability; mid-division, struggling 3f out.

ROC DE PRINCE without the headgear this time, again ran below form, more markedly so on this occasion; in touch, lost place 3f out, found little.

GRAND DIAMOND (IRE) ran no sort of race; dwelt, in rear, pushed along 3f out, made no impression.
