after 11 days off, had the advantage of the rail to race against and completed hat-trick up a further 5 lb, is thriving on racing; made all, joined final 1f, stuck to task; has won from marks in the 80s and is likely to continue in form.

back down in trip after just 4 days off, interesting from this sort of mark, wasted no time getting back on track; in rear, smooth progress over 1f out, not clear run, switched final 1f, stayed on strongly; not the easiest to win with but is one to bear in mind after this display.

A fairly useful handicap which the winner saw out gamely from the front, but there were a couple of hard-luck stories in behind, notably the runner-up who finished strongly from a poor position.
