Best Greyhound Racing Free Bets
Check out our free bets page, for all the latest in new customer betting offers including sign up offers. That’s not all, we also showcase the best betting offers for existing customers across all sports, not just greyhounds.
When you’re choosing a free bet offer from one of our partners, make sure you take a look at which offer is the best for you – there are usually several options.
Certain offers are presented as risk free bets, where you back your selection and, if it loses, you get your stake back.
Another way to go is deposit boosts, which are probably the most common form of free bet offer. As an example, you may deposit or stake £10 and get £30 in additional free bets – usually broken down into 3x£10 bets.
Each bookmaker has their own variations on these offers, even if they appear to be similar, please make sure you check their terms and conditions before registering and placing any bets.
Popular Greyhound Racing Bets
The most straightforward bets are the same as in horse racing – win, or each-way, but there are lots of other ways to bet on Greyhound racing.
A bet to win is simply which dog you think is going to win. Whereas each-way is essentially two bets on the same dog, the first part of the bet is to win, and the second half is for it to be placed – with place terms dependent on the number of runners in the race.
You may also look at placing a forecast where you must select the order in which the top 2 or 3 dogs will finish. This is much harder to predict, but is more lucrative if you do so successfully. There are many variants of forecast betting with varying degrees of difficulty.
Finally, you can also consider placing multiples on the dogs. This is where you combine multiple selections into a bet to get a bigger return on your stake – such as a Lucky 15 and an accumulator.

How to Claim Greyhound Racing Free Bets
It’s important to read the full offer details before signing up so that you know what to do to claim your offer.
Sometimes you will need to input a voucher code when you’re registering for you to receive your free bets, and other offers may require you to take a specific list of actions in order for you to claim your bet.
It may also be that your stake won’t be credited until after the greyhound race you have bet on has been settled – this is the case in any offers that offer risk-free bets, or money back.
If you’re not sure who to sign up with, then why not check out the reviews we’ve written, which you can find with each bookmaker on the free bets page.
Best Greyhound Betting Races

- Category One - £12,500 minimum prize money

- Category Three - £1,000 minimum prize money
- Invitation Race - £750 minimum prize money

Best Greyhound Betting Offers
Around the more major racing there will be betting offers for you to take advantage of. The best time to look out for Greyhound Racing Free Bets and Betting Offers is around the English Derby, when bookmakers will be putting out their best free bets and offers.
Even the simplest of things such as best odds guaranteed means that, if the starting price is better than the odds you backed it, you get the better price. This helps you to find that extra little of value when it presents itself.
Bookmakers will also have ongoing offers valid for every day of racing, such as free bets clubs – where you can get a free bet when you back multiple dogs. Again, these offers need to be read carefully as they are often for specific races on a given day or week, and not for all racing that there’s a market for.
Another consistently run offer is if your dog wins by a 3 lengths or more (conditions vary) you will get a free bet that matches the stake placed in that race.
Furthermore, you can also get insurance offers – the most common being that, if your dog comes second to the starting price favourite then your stake will be refunded as a free bet for use on other racing, or other sports if it takes your fancy.
Make sure you keep an eye on our betting offers page, for all the latest offers on all sports.
