had been shaping well since joining this yard and, well backed with De Sousa in the plate, got the job done after just 5 days off, matching his best form; held up, headway 4f out, switched inside 1f out, stayed on to lead final 1f, kept going well; will continue to give a good account.

ran creditably back down in trip in first-time visor after just 3 days off, but again just found a couple too good; led, travelled fluently, headed final 1f, no extra.

All 6 ran.

Winning Owner: Mr K. Sohi

Time: 1m 12.72s Closing Sectional: (2.00f): 23.25s (102.7%)

A useful handicap which went the way the betting suggested, Calder Prince giving it a good go from the front but no match for the well-backed winner inside the final furlong who scored in good style.
