whose form last time received a boost at Galway last week, showed much improved form to overcome the rise in class, this giving an indication as to just why connections chose to start him off in the Chesham; tracked pace, quickened to lead over 1f out, always holding on; open to further improvement.

ran to a similar level to last time, but left the distinct impression that this didn't get to the bottom of him; close up, raced freely, came wide straight, effort over 1f out, kept on, unsuited by the way the race developed; remains with potential.

ran creditably but would surely have benefited from making this more of a test; prominent, led briefly 2f out, no extra final 1f; should still improve.
