a most progressive sort, ran out a convincing winner on his first try in graded company, this likely a stepping stone to even better things; tracked pace, quickened to lead approaching 2 out, well on top finish; the Ballymore looks the obvious race for him should connections opt to send him to Cheltenham, and there is still more to come from him, his career under Rules not yet a year old after all.

one of the least exposed in the field and very much a chaser on looks, deserves plenty of credit for finishing where he did considering how hard he pulled for most of the journey; tracked pace, tanked along, jumped better as race wore on (big early on), upsides briefly 2 out, kept on, hands-and-heels ride; will be suited by a return to 2m and certainly wouldn't look out of place in the Supreme.

is probably not quite up to this level but going the right way all the same; made running, settled better than last time, headed approaching 2 out, kept on.

just 10 days on from winning a maiden hurdle, found this too competitive at this stage of his development; waited with, in contention entering straight, effort 2 out, hung left, one paced.

A Grade 1 novice that boasts an illustrious role of honour and this year's winner looks a worthy addition to that, Bob Olinger drawing clear after the last to run out a convincing winner; Gabynako was given an easy time of things up front.
