who'd been given a bit more of a break since his last run, benefited from the 2f longer trip and showed further improvement as he resumed winning ways, making it 3 from his last 4 now; chased leaders, reminders after 4 out, edged ahead 2 out, hit last but still found plenty; he's a really tough sort who stays well (likely to stay beyond 3m) and surely has a future over fences.

ran one of better races after a couple of laboured efforts but can't be trusted to be in the same mood next time; led, ridden between 4 out and 3 out, headed 2 out, stuck to task.

returned to form even though barely staying the 4f longer trip, whilst some sloppy jumping didn't help matters either; prominent, jumped sketchily but still travelled well, challenged 3 out, hung right approaching last, no extra; he's best at short of 3m.

wasted no time getting back on track in a less competitive affair than she'd contested at Cheltenham just 5 days ago, not ideally placed so worth a little extra credit on the day; in rear, headway after 4 out, kept on; her mark is stiff, however.

looked rusty after 5 months off, even giving a bit of trouble at the start; held up, jumped left at times, in touch before 3 out, weakened, not persevered with once held; she should be sharper for the run.

in first-time visor after 10 weeks off, clearly wasn't 100% on the day; in touch, went prominent circuit out, folded after 4 out, eased off, seemed amiss.
