back down in trip, had nothing of the calibre of Words to deal with on this occasion and didn't need to improve to resume winning ways, enjoying the run of the race but always doing enough; made running, went with enthusiasm, shaken up 2f out, stuck to task; will need to step up again to make her presence felt in the Nassau, her next reported target, but there are more races to be won with her at this sort of level.

again ran well, confirming that he is back in form; waited with, forced wide home turn, quickened early in straight, second 1f out, no extra final 100 yds; doesn't win very often but likely to remain competitive.

didn't get home over this 1f longer trip, but the way she went through the race would suggest she is still in good form; chased leaders, travelled fluently, third early in straight, effort flattened out.

faced a stiff task in this grade, but offered little after 10 months off; held up, in touch approaching home turn, weakened, heavily eased off; something to prove.

A smart renewal of this Group 3, albeit one lacking strength in depth, and favourite backers had few anxious moments, Carla Bianca making all for a straightforward success; it was run at a sound pace.

CARLA BIANCA (IRE) back down in trip, had nothing of the calibre of Words to deal with on this occasion and didn't need to improve to resume winning ways, enjoying the run of the race but always doing enough; made running, went with enthusiasm, shaken up 2f out, stuck to task; will need to step up again to make her presence felt in the Nassau, her next reported target, but there are more races to be won with her at this sort of level.

ELLEVAL (IRE) again ran well, confirming that he is back in form; waited with, forced wide home turn, quickened early in straight, second 1f out, no extra final 100 yds; doesn't win very often but likely to remain competitive.

BRENDAN BRACKAN (IRE) back up in trip, turned in best effort of season; close up, effort 2f out, one paced; will need to be well placed if he is to double his tally at this level.

PIRI WANGO (IRE) bounced back to form without ever looking like winning; tracked pace, took strong hold, lost place entering straight, kept on again late.

QUEEN NEFERTITI (IRE) didn't get home over this 1f longer trip, but the way she went through the race would suggest she is still in good form; chased leaders, travelled fluently, third early in straight, effort flattened out.

BATTLE OF MARATHON (USA) faced a stiff task in this grade, but offered little after 10 months off; held up, in touch approaching home turn, weakened, heavily eased off; something to prove.
