has been a model of consistency this season and with conditions in his favour, resumed winning ways after 3 months, well positioned the way this went and taking advantage of a couple of notable rivals not being at their peak; made all, went with zest, shaken up over 2f out, kicked on soon after, always holding on; he is likely to remain vulnerable in better company.

looks to be being brought along for an Autumn campaign, as was the case last year and he shaped as if retaining all ability after 3 months off, an ideal prep run in fact for bigger targets ahead; in touch, shaken up 3f out, chased leader from 2f out, kept on well, never nearer.

back down in trip, ran up to best and though wasn't ideally placed, can't be upgraded too much if at all, this simply looking his level for now; mid-field, ridden 3f out, one paced.

has clearly had a few problems since running so well in the Derby 12 weeks previously, and though was a little disappointing on the face of it, was left poorly placed and ultimately shaped as if better for the run; in rear, smooth progress from home turn, shaken up over 2f out, not quicken; he's come so far in such a short space of time, and remains capable of better.

was below form back up in grade and in first-time tongue strap, though was left poorly placed as this went, conclusions regarding the 2f longer trip probably best kept to another day; waited with, travelled as well as any, shaken up approaching 2f out, not quicken.

A really good turnout, led by multiple Group-1 winner Fascinating Rock and Derby runner-up Us Army Ranger, but neither were at their best, possibly being brought along with bigger targets ahead, but that should not detract from the performance of Success Days who was allowed an easy time in front and was never for catching.

SUCCESS DAYS (IRE) has been a model of consistency this season and with conditions in his favour, resumed winning ways after 3 months, well positioned the way this went and taking advantage of a couple of notable rivals not being at their peak; made all, went with zest, shaken up over 2f out, kicked on soon after, always holding on; he is likely to remain vulnerable in better company.

FASCINATING ROCK (IRE) looks to be being brought along for an Autumn campaign, as was the case last year and he shaped as if retaining all ability after 3 months off, an ideal prep run in fact for bigger targets ahead; in touch, shaken up 3f out, chased leader from 2f out, kept on well, never nearer.

MANEEN after 3 months off, came up well short upped significantly in grade; in rear, off the bridle before most, beaten 2f out.

THE STEWARD (USA) without usual headgear, after 3 months off, shaped similarly to last time; held up, beaten 2f out.
