The Sir Michael Stoute-trained Sun Maiden, who ran out an impressive 12-length winner of a mile and a quarter minor event at Salisbury last week, could bypass the Oaks in favour of the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The well-related filly - a daughter of Frankel and half-sister to Midday - was well backed to make a winning reappearance and ran to a near-useful level in the process.
Stoute has left her in the Oaks at the forfeit stage but connections have stated she is unlikely to take up her entry.
Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah said: “I would think she is more likely at the moment to head for the Ribblesdale, rather than the Oaks.
“It’s all just happening a bit quick.”
Sun Maiden is a general 16/1 chance for the Oaks at Epsom on Saturday week.
