O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESRoyal Ascot 2016: Coronation-bound Jet Setting sold for £1.3 million
Posted in: Royal Ascot News
Jet Setting, who has been purchased by the China Horse Club, will remain with current trainer Adrian Keatley and is on target to run in Friday's Coronation Stakes.
She was famously bought for just 12,000 guineas at the Tattersalls Horses In Training sale at the end of last season.
"She'll go over to England on Wednesday and we're very much looking forward to what should hopefully be a great day.
"It (the sale) is a great result for the lads (former owners Equinegrowthpartners) and it was obviously a massive result her winning the Guineas.
"It's also a massive result for racing as it gives people hope, and a lot of people need hope at the lower end of racing."
Equinegrowthpartners Syndicate had earlier expressed their joy at the dream sale.
They tweeted: "Great result for the syndicate but even more delighted she stays with Adrian and wins the Coronation for him! #result."
In other sales news, Dee Stakes winner Viren's Army, who holds an entry in Thursday's Tercentenary Stakes, was sold to Jono Mills, representing Darley/Godolphin for £700,000.
