O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESChurchill to face maximum of 10 rivals in St James's Palace Stakes

The high-class Churchill, who completed the 2000 Guineas double at the Curragh last month, will face a maximum of 10 rivals in the St James’s Palace stakes on Tuesday. Aidan O’Brien also has Lancaster Bomber, Orderofthegarter, Whitecliffsofdover and Peace Envoy among the entries.
Richard Hannon’s Barney Roy finished runner-up to Churchill at Newmarket and is a general second favourite for the race, while Godolphin also have Thunder Snow, who likewise finished second to Churchill at the Curragh last time.
Rivet failed to settle in the Prix du Jockey Club last time and he looks set to drop back to 1m.
Forest Ranger and King’s Gift represent northern trainers Richard Fahey and Michael Dods, whilst likely outsider Mr Scaramanga has also been left in by trainer Simon Dow.
