O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESAmerican Patriot can "outrun" his Queen Anne odds, say connections

The Todd Pletcher-trained four-year-old, who won a Grade One contest at Keeneland on his latest start, has Frankie Dettori booked to ride, and Pletcher's assistant trainer Ginny DePasquale thinks American Patriot can out-run his price, which is currently 25/1 with Betfair for the first Group 1 prize of the Royal meeting.
She said: "He's taken it all in his stride and has settled in quite well.
"It was after Keeneland when he won the Grade One that the owners and Todd saw this race coming up and the timing was perfect. Hopefully he can carry his form across the ocean."
The US raider will be looking to follow in the footsteps of the super-mare Tepin, who successfully won the same race last year in emphatic fashion for the Mark Casse team.
Ribchester is the current 4/5 favourite for the Queen Anne Stakes, and is the first leg of a mooted Royal Ascot super-accumulator which has sent bookmakers running for cover.
