T5 Miles Of Smiles - 15.11 Hove 

The fourth race at Hove (15.11) can go to T5 Miles Of Smiles. Seamus Cahill’s inmate is a strong stayer and gets the 695m trip here very well but she is equally adept at this galloping 515m now she is trapping better than she did in her early days. She comes into this in an excellent run of form and a  repeat of her latest second in this grade will be enough to land this slightly weaker event.

T6 Winter Soldier - 16.07 Belle Vue  

At Belle Vue this afternoon the chances of T6 Winter Soldier look to have been underestimated slightly in the 16.07. The selection has not won any of his last 10 starts higher than A7 grade so his chances might look slim back in A6 at first glance, but his win last time came in a very good race for A7 grade and he has a very good make up being the only wide in the line-up.

T1 Witton Derecho - 21.14 Sunderland  

The best of the evening is in the last race of the night (21.14) at Sunderland where T1 Witton Derecho will take all the beating. The selection isn’t a particularly original one but with he is a class above most other A1 dogs at the Wearside venue and will appreciate the drop back into graded company after a good second in an Open race last time
