We provide three selections from three different venues on Wednesday.
Palatine Michael (Trap 2) - 19.03 Doncaster
Three wins in his last seven races testify to the good form that T2 Palatine Michael is in right now and he can return to winning ways in the 19.03 at Doncaster this evening. This is a much easier assignment than his last two races, one of which was in A1 grade, and he ought to be able to get across to the rails easily enough. A repeat of his wining effort three runs back will be good enough again.
Forest Alms (Trap 3) - 19.19 Peterborough
With two much slower starters on her inside and better early pace than those drawn outside her, T3 Forest Alms can get the clear run in the 19.19 at Peterborough that has eluded her in recent races. Her win ratio while not perfect is very good from a position out on front exiting the second bend and that looks a likely scenario tonight, so she rates a confident selection.
Chicagain (Trap 5) - 21.14 Sunderland
The 21.14 at Sunderland can go the way of T5 Chicagain. The orange has the best early pace in the line-up and looks set for a solo to the first bend, from which point she ought to be very had to catch. This A5 isn’t any tougher than the one she was second in last time and with the prospect of less trouble in running this time, she looks worth a wager.
