Best Bets: Wednesday 28 August

We pick out our three best bets from Peterborough and Sunderland on Wednesday.
Boherash Gabriel (Trap 4) in the 19.42 at Sunderland
The 450m handicap at 19.42 at Sunderland has a very good punting shape to it and BOHERASH GABRIEL appeals a decent bet. The selection hasn't won a handicap since June despite rarely finishing out of the first three but faces a much easier task on this occasion and looks set for a clear run. In contrast, the paper favourite T5 Riverdance Lolly faces much sterner opposition here than she overcame narrowly last time, and though more improvement looks likely she might just find this ask beyond her.
Maybeanothertime (Trap 4) in the 20.37 at Peterborough
The 20.37 at Peterborough can go to MAYBEANOTHERTIME. The selection is back in A6 grade today having won an A7 last time but he has gone close several times at this level before despite only having had a handful of races. With further improvement very much on the cards, he rates a confident selection to follow up.
Expert Tiny (Trap 3) in the 20.59 at Sunderland
Back at Sunderland, the 20.59 looks a decent opportunity for EXPERT TINY. The pup has very good early pace but hasn’t been able to keep out of trouble in her short career so far. However, she faces a very limited bunch here, none of whom regularly ping the lids, and so long as she turns in front she ought to prove very difficult to catch.
