Best Bets: Wednesday 21 August

We pick out our best bets from three different venues on Wednesday.
SPARTA CREAM (Trap 2) in the 13:49 at Central Park
The last race at Central Park looks a good opportunity for SPARTA CREAM. The selection is still looking for her first win here since coming over from Ireland but acquitted herself well in an Open at Crayford last time and will relish the return to this more galloping track in a slightly easier A3 race than those she has been contesting up till now.
PANDAMONIUM (Trap 4) in the 16:48 at Hove
PANDAMONIUM looks the answer to the 16:48 at Hove. Three wins in B3 grade from 22 starts isn’t an obviously attractive profile, but Jason Heath’s inmate has met more than his fair share of trouble over the past year and ran very well last time despite being crowded again. This contest looks a bit weaker than that one, and he looks drawn for a clearer run than usual.
TEENYWEENY BEAR (Trap 3) in the 20:23 at Peterborough
At Peterborough this evening, we are very keen on the chances of TEENYWEENY BEAR in the 20:23. The youngster is one of the fastest trappers at the Fengate circuit and is equally at home over 250m or 435m. The selection has yet to run in A2 grade here, but he is top grade at 250m and bossed an A3 last time in impressive fashion with his best performance yet at the longer distance. This race looks no harder.
