Having been slow to gather full fitness following seasonal rest Shes Got Speed (Trap 2, 15.27) got the job done in fairly convincing style given her mid-race position when accounting for A5-rivals last week. For all we know plenty about her, that ought not prove her limit given she has even stronger back form to call upon and granted a clear passage around bends 1 & 2, we expect George Eccles’ charge to be hunting down the pace-setters from the ¾ point.

No Show Joe (Trap 5, 15.39) has hindered his chances of late with inconsistency at the boxes but when putting it all together he is undoubtedly of fairly useful form and he could be worth chancing to get back on track. At first glance he doesn’t look immediately well treated in this class of A2, yet on closer inspection this is a race lacking depth for the grade and with prospects of turning front rank, we’re hopeful of seeing plenty from the son of Makeshift.

Over at Doncaster Cougar Del Ray (Trap 2, 20.21) arrives at that point post-season when a bitch is worthy of following and on the back of facile C&D victories in recent days, the daughter of Zero Ten is fancied to complete the hat-trick. Remaining in D2 class on the back of a 5 ¾ length rout 4 days ago rates a surprise and, with claims on expected final time evidently solid, a bold show looks on the cards.
