Following a low-key start to her Sunderland career, Oaktree Lemon (T3) has quickly slipped down the graded ladder. However, she offered definite signs that she can make her mark at this level when third nine days ago, riding a first-bend bump and not beaten at all far. Capable of better still on the clock, this is a race lacking depth and, granted a clear run, she’s fancied to make a bold bid.

Ballymac Levi (Trap 5) - 19:02 Doncaster

Ballymac Levi (T5) has established himself as one of the leading hounds over Doncaster’s 483-metre trip and lines up this evening after running a cracker when second over the intermediate four-bend trip last week, bumped at the first bend and going down by only three-quarters of a length to one who stole first march. A return to the orange vest rates an obvious plus this evening (7-10 from this trap) and with a vacant trap on his outer he makes plenty of appeal in his bid to register yet another victory at the track.

Puckane Sydney (Trap 1) - 19:09 Yarmouth

Puckane Sydney (T1) boasts a good record at the track and is 1-1 over C&D. He remains unexposed as a stayer and, in what could well develop into a match with another classy sort in the shape of Droopys Cherish (T2), we’re hopeful he can make full use of his inside draw in red and come out on top.
