Best Bets: Tuesday 17 September

We pick out our three best bets from Sheffield on Tuesday evening.
COYOTE SHAUNEY (Trap 3) in the 19:26 at Sheffield
COYOTE SHAUNEY has gone off relatively short odds in A1 Company of late (successful three starts back) and takes a surprising drop in grade having gone close from the front latest, only collared late in the day behind an upwardly mobile puppy. The son of Droopys Jet looks likely to be blazing a trail again and is expected to have enough in reserve this time, taking on inferior rivals.
JOELLA REGGIE (Trap 1) in the 19:42 at Sheffield
JOELLA REGGIE is a very likeable local and arriving in search of a hat-trick of C&D victories, Barrie Draper’s charge is fancied to strike. A largely reliable trapper, his rails draw looks perfect to attempt make-all tactics once more and we’re more than hopeful he can execute it this evening.
BALLYMAC HAZEL (Trap 1) in the 20:29 at Sheffield
A leading graded performer at Poole, BALLYMAC HAZEL had little trouble accounting for A2 rivals making her first competitive start at Owlerton recently, turning handy and clearing away from the fourth bend to score by three and a quarter lengths. Chris Akers’ bitch boasts winning six-bend form over 640 metres and, from what could well prove an excellent draw on the rails, she’s fancied to make the breakthrough at open class level.
