SHARP BORIS (Trap 4) in the 14:52 at Hove

The first bet comes on Hove’s afternoon card. With SHARP BORIS taken to double his career tally in the B2 contest at 14:52. A failure to add to his debut win is pretty understandable given he’s contested Open races on several occasions and he looked firmly on the way back last week despite ultimately finishing fourth, still bang there after an early bump before fading late. This looks a slightly weaker B2 so he should be backed to build on that.

FAGANS DREAM (Trap 5) in the 20:59 at Sheffield

Sheffield’s RPGTV card is the destination for the remaining two wagers, with FAGANS DREAM an appealing candidate in the A1 at 20:59. Barrie Draper’s charge has found the going tough in Open races of late, but this is clearly an easier assignment and he holds the aces on the clock on his best form.

COYOTE DRAGONFLY (Trap 3) in the 21:34 at Sheffield

With Trap 6 vacant, COYOTE DRAGONFLY has just four rivals to beat in the concluding A3 affair at 21:34 and it’s a task he looks up to having landed a serious punt in this grade early last month. Getting a clear run has been an issue since, but there isn’t a lot of early pace in this contest, so the selection is likely to lead up if our first-bend sectionals are correct and he’ll take some stopping if that proves to be the case.
