We provide three selections from Sheffield on Thursday.
Marinas Flyer (Trap 1) - 14:27 Sheffield
Marinas Flyer (Trap 1, 14.27) is well and truly exposed but she’s been a grand servant to connections and is still a force at the low level of D3/4 Company. A back-to-back winner in May, she had little go right on her most recent outing in a stronger affair and, granted a clear passage approaching the bend, Mona Wainwright’s brindle can be expected to be firmly in the mix once more.
Inca Patriot (Trap 5) - 14:47 Sheffield
Inca Patriot (Trap 5, 14.47) has largely enjoyed a productive first half to 2019, Phil Barlow’s charge adding another success on his penultimate outing. His make-up in today’s handicap looks a particularly good one, especially given the fact he may well get a solo down the back straight and it would come as no surprise to see him go very well.
Droopys Greta (Trap 4) - 17:39 Sheffield
Like many Droopys Greta (Trap 4, 17.39) is at her best when bowling along at the head of affairs and with that rating a distinct possibility in an A3 lacking depth, she is fancied to make a bold bid. Her latest effort 6 days ago is easily overlooked because of trouble-in-running and she can turn handy at the very least and prove too strong.
