Best Bets: Thursday 2 February

PAUL THELAYABOUT (Trap 3) - 19:36 Hove

PAUL THELAYABOUT (Trap 3) can follow up last week's victory in the 19:36 contest. That was a welcome change of luck down in class for the reliable bitch and she never saw another rival. A string of seconds in this grade prior to that show that she can add to her tally.

FEARSOME POPPY (Trap 3) - 20:54 Hove

FEARSOME POPPY (Trap 3) looks set for a big run in the 20:54 sprint. She's got plenty of good recent efforts in better races to her name and hasn't had much luck the last twice. She's got a 37% strike rate from trap 3 and is back in that box tonight.

HOVEX CUCURELLA (Trap 6) - 21:12 Hove

HOVEX CUCURELLA (Trap 6) leaves the impression he has more to offer and could be the answer to the 21:12 race. He was a gutsy winner from this trap at the start of the year and caught the eye in a trial over further last week.
