Each of BRIGHT JODI’s last two victories have come at A7 level and having fared respectably on each of her last two starts in that grade, she is fancied to cash in now dropped a peg on the graded ladder. Troy Bedford’s bitch has a good record in this class and with a clear run, she can strike.

GO SLOW NO (Trap 6) - 15:47 Sheffield

GO SLOW NO has yet to truly hit top gear following her switch to Sheffield, yet it wasn’t all that long-ago Joy Andrews’ charge was scoring in A4 class at Belle Vue (solid A2 operator at her best). Not disgraced in a decent A5 contest last time, the grader’s mercy has immediately been noted and we’re expecting to see the daughter of Vans Escalade in a much better light.

OAKVALE DANNY (Trap 6) - 17:06 Sheffield

OAKVALE DANNY arrives on a losing run stretching back to early August but there have been some encouraging signs his turn may not be far away of late. John Walton’s charge looks likely to get out in front early and in a race lacking depth, can have enough in reserve to hold the late comers.
