AIR SEA RESCUE (Trap 4) - 14:09 Nottingham

The first of three afternoon selections comes in Nottingham’s opener at 14:09, with AIR SEA RESCUE an appealing candidate. On the face of it, last week’s return to action was disappointing, failing to beat a rival, but a slow start cost him on that occasion and he’s capable of turning handy against these rivals. That race won’t be lost on Air Sea Rescue fitness-wise, and, though he faces an unknown quantity in Blackstone Trail (who has been short), he rates the percentage call.

SALACRES GYPSY (Trap 2) - 17:09 Nottingham

One that has already had two starts back is SALACRES GYPSY and she has returned an improved performer, finding only one too good on each occasion. Last week’s runner-up effort in this A7 grade was a career best, reeled in only late, and a similar display may well suffice in the 17:09 at Nottingham.

KENNYS VISION (Trap 3) - 18:24 Sheffield

The best bet on Sheffield’s card looks to come in the finale at 18:24, with KENNYS VISION taken to continue his upward trajectory for the Draper team. Well backed on his first start back, Kennys Vision ran out a decisive all-the-way winner of an A7 contest and a single-grade rise should be within his compass with his early pace an obvious asset.
