The first selection arrives on Harlow’s card, with ON STAGE BONNIE taken to cast a few quiet runs behind her in the 12:24 contest. Tardy starts have compromised her chance on more than one occasion, but she really ought to turn handy in this ordinary-looking A7 for the track and she’s very much the one to beat on the clock.

GLORY SNAKE (Trap 1) in the 14:08 at Henlow

There’s Open action at Henlow’s afternoon meeting, with GLORY SNAKE confidently expected to land the odds in the opener at 14:08. A strong stayer over four bends, he looked a natural over 550m when shooting clear here last week and that performance is well in advance of his rivals in this.

SAVANA DARE (Trap 2) in the 15:47 at Henlow

Droopys Tops is very strong in the early betting exchanges in the four-bend Open at 15:47, but SAVANA DARE could be the one to side with. The selection lacks a recent run following a spell at Crayford but he has plenty of noteworthy form at this track, which also lends itself to smash breakers such as Savana Dare. He’s certainly the value.
