Best Bets: Saturday 7 December

We pick out our three best bets from Sheffield on Saturday evening.
BALLINLOUGH BEN (Trap 2) - 18:07 Sheffield
We focus on Sheffield’s evening RPGTV card for all three bets, with BALLINLOUGH BEN (Trap 2) hopefully getting us off to a flyer in the opener at 18:07. The selection improved his strike rate in A8 company last month and improved again on the figures when a strong-finishing second in this grade a week ago, coming up just a neck short. A repeat display will ensure he’s bang there again.
HARTON BORIS (Trap 5) - 18:59 Sheffield
It’s taken a little while for HARTON BORIS (Trap 5) to find his feet in graded company following a handicap win from the front during the autumn, but the Barrie Draper inmate improved a chuck on the clock when a short-head second last week. That performance indicates that he’s ready to strike and when getting it right at the boxes, he could rate a fair bit higher, yet. The 18:59 looks his for the taking.
BARNISH DILLY (Trap 5) - 21:18 Sheffield
Following a short break during the summer, BARNISH DILLY (Trap 5) has developed into something of a winning machine, tasting success no fewer than seven times. He didn’t do a lot wrong tackling A4 company for the first time last week, finding only one too good, and quickly back in A5 grade, he can take full advantage in the 21:18.
