MINEOLA AUNTY (T4) - 16:07 Sheffield

The first of two afternoon bets at Owlerton arrives in the race in the 16.07 D4 contest. Sprints don’t get any weaker than this, and though Stepaside Ronnie is something of an unknown quantity, MINEOLA AUNTY (T4) usually operates in better races than this and can make the most of the downgrade.

HANKS JET (T5) - 18:11 Sheffield

HANKS JET (T5) bagged a brace of A6 races last month, so it’s a little surprising to see him back in that grade after just the one run in an A5 last week. Admittedly he was never a factor in that contest but his overall record is pretty reliable and he should make a very bold bid in the concluding race at 18.11.

LEAHS ACE (T2) - 18:22 Yarmouth

The RPGTV Yarmouth card kicks off at 18.22, and LEAHS ACE (T2) may well be the bet of the meeting, He’s into the veteran stage of his career, but this isn’t a strong A6 for the track and with plenty of pace spread out across the track, Leahs Ace will hopefully tuck in early before his stamina kicks in.
