SUP JIM (Trap 1) - 13:33 Perry Barr

Having won well in A5 company on his penultimate outing, it’s a little surprising to see SUP JIM (Trap 1) back in that grade following just one effort in A4 company last week. He has a good make-up on the inside and though he takes on a couple of lightly-raced rivals in the 13:33 Perry Barr contest, he still rates a good bet.

SCARLETS DANCER (Trap 5) - 14:27 Sheffield

Sheffield’s afternoon card is the destination for the remaining bets, with SCARLETS DANCER (Trap 5) holding an advantage on the clock in the A8 at 14:27. The selection hasn’t been at her very best of late and last won a race when pitched into handicap company, but this isn’t a strong race for the grade and there’s a fair chance Scarlets Dancer will turn first in this.

GLENVALE JET (Trap 4) - 17:22 Sheffield

GLENVALE JET (Trap 4) has enjoyed a productive time of things of late, winning in this A5 class on his penultimate start and he also wasn’t beaten far last week. There’s early pace spread across the track in the 17:22 affair, but the selection certainly doesn’t have to lead up to win and he rates the percentage call.
