With the exception of newcomer Keefill Chase, LA SALVAJE (T3) takes on fully-exposed rivals in the A5 contest at 18.08 and he posted a really big effort when winning a sprint on debut last month. He got tangled up more than once in a 500m contest last week so that run be overlooked and with the grader quick to lend a hand, La Salvaje’s claims rather leap off the page.

Out The Traps (Trap 4) - 19.21 Sheffield

OUT THE TRAPS (T4) is pretty well named given early pace is very much his forte, as displayed when a back-to-back winner in A2 company last month. A couple of stiff tasks followed up in class but returned to his pay grade, he was mugged in the final strides here a fortnight ago. That confirms that Out The Traps is in fine fettle and taking on just four rivals this evening at 19.21, an all-the-way win is firmly on the cards.

Droopys Mountain (Trap 6) - 19.37 Sheffield

Fit from a couple of sprint races and a trial, it’s hard to know exactly where we stand with Droopys Mountain on her 500m return, but the grader places her in an A4 for the first time in her career at 19.37, so a winning return is by no means out of the question.
