Twice successful in this grade of A5 early last month, WRECKIN BAR has fared creditably since without being seen to very best effect, meeting with crowding latest but keeping on for third eight days ago. A consistent bitch on the clock, she’s a strong runner at the 500-metre trip and this doesn’t look the strongest of contests on paper, so we’re hopeful she can avoid any scrimmaging inside and announce her presence on proceedings from the ¾ point.

ICAALS ROCCO (Trap 2) - 19:56 Romford

We head over to Romford and up markedly in class for our second selection, with ICAALS ROCCO looking to hold sound claims of dispelling a luckless effort seven days ago and resuming winning ways. Successful at Crayford/over C&D on two of his last four starts, he was on the backfoot from lid rise latest meeting with bumping on the run up and never figuring thereafter. Capable of a slick break, we’re hopeful John Mullins’ charge can turn front rank on the rails and have enough in reserve to hold off the challengers.

BOYNEPARK FRAN (Trap 5) - 21:16 Nottingham

A tremendous servant to connections, BOYNEPARK FRAN has been in tremendous form in recent weeks, twice a winner in A3 company prior to getting no luck-in-running in A2 class last time. However, the grader has been quick to relinquish his grip, the September 18’ whelp holding obvious claims on expected final time and on the sectional clock, we’re hopeful he can turn handy from the orange jacket and prove too strong from halfway.
