O'BRIEN AND MOORE TAKE TOP TRAINER AND JOCKEY TITLESRoyal Ascot Tips: Friday

14:30 Albany Stakes (Group 3) - Ascot
DAAHYEH had to overcome inexperience to make a winning debut in a novice at Newmarket last month, which suggests she can make above-average improvement, and the runner-up has boosted the form in no uncertain terms since. Nayibeth's dirt success at Keeneland is just about the best form on offer, but this is a different examination, so Silent Wave is feared most.
15:05 King Edward VII Stakes (Group 2) - Ascot
A smart 2-y-o, JAPAN came on plenty for his reappearance in the Dante at York when third in the Derby at Epsom 3 weeks ago, keeping on well to finish ½-length third behind stablemate Anthony Van Dyck. He's open to further improvement and should prove tough to beat with conditions holding no fears. Private Secretary is upwardly mobile and feared, along with Pondus who is of a similar ilk.
15:40 Commonwealth Cup (Group 1) - Ascot
TEN SOVEREIGNS simply didn't get home in the 2000 Guineas on his reappearance and is fully expected to show he's a high-class colt now returned to sprinting. Although deserted by the owner's retained rider, Khaadem appeals as the sort who can make his mark at the highest level and could be the one to follow the selection home ahead of Sandy Lane winner Hello Youmzain.
16:20 Coronation Stakes (Group 1) - Ascot
HERMOSA has carried all before her in the 1m fillies' division so far in 2019 and, while Jubiloso is something of a new kid on the block following her Newbury demolition job, it's probably best to assume the first named will continue her dominance. French Guineas winner Castle Lady is the clear pick of the others.
17:00 Sandringham Stakes (Handicap) - Ascot
HOTSY TOTSY is a filly on the up and looks on a decent mark for her first crack in handicap company. Her shrewd trainer won this event 12 months ago and she can land the prize for him once more. Desirous is also going the right way and is feared most, whilst I'm Available, Magnetic Charm and Nonchalance are also much respected.
17:35 Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes (Handicap) - Ascot
The vote goes to CORGI, who was just touched off by Baghdad in the King George V at this meeting last year and meets that rival on 3 lb better terms now. Moreover, he has improved during the winter judged on his encouraging reappearance at York and the fact that he's versatile ground-wise is an added bonus. Baghdad appears to have improved since too, and is feared most ahead of Secret Advisor.
