Flotus created a tremendous impression when making a successful start to her career at Goodwood last month, and although the bare form is just useful, she has to be marked down as a most exciting prospect. She gets the vote over Hello You, who impressed equally when scoring by a wide-margin on her debut at Wolverhampton. Eve Lodge has a bit about her and makes each-way appeal at bigger odds.
Alenquer's Classic Trial victory at Sandown received the ultimate form boost when runner-up Adayar bolted up in the Derby just under a fortnight ago. With further improvement on the cards, he's a confident selection to score again upped further in trip. The Mediterranean still looked a little rough around the edges when second in a listed event last time but he's feared most, ahead of Yibir.
Suesa has passed each of her 4 Chantilly assignments with flying colours and is every inch a Group-1 filly in the making, so she can take this prize across the Channel for Francois Rohaut. Fellow overseas raider Campanelle landed the Queen Mary at this meeting a year ago and 6f looks her ideal trip so she is feared most, with Method interesting of the home contingent.
Mother Earth wasn't far off landing the British/French 1000 Guineas double and, with the best form, she's a solid option to get back to winning ways in what looks an up-to-scratch Coronation Stakes. Stablemate and Irish Guineas winner Empress Josephine looks a big threat, while Pretty Gorgeous is a player based on 2-y-o form.
Plenty in with a shout so at the likely odds it's worth siding with Camdeboo who promises to take a big step forward tackling this trip for the first time having been an excellent fourth over 5.5f in a Cork listed event last time. Roger Varian's She Do is another likely improver on her first try over a mile, with hat-trick seeking Glesga Gal and the returning Pomelo also considered.
A very good renewal, featuring a few who could be ahead of their marks, none more so than Aaddeey who hacked up when returned to this trip at Newmarket last time and could have plenty more to offer. Quickthorn is another who is progressing at a rate of knots and he's feared most after last month's Haydock romp. Sam Cooke and Valyrian Steel are next on the list.
Boomshalaa has looked a smart sprinter in the making with 2 impressive victories this year. The drop to 5f here will suit and his stay in handicaps could be a short one. Warrior Brave is 7 lb well-in for his second in a listed contest at Sandown at the weekend under De Sousa and he's an obvious player. Equality, Popmaster and Get It are among the other key players in a red-hot contest.
